During his residency he obtained both a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Dental Science degree for his research on the relationship of full coverage restorations and periapical healing. Guanche completed his endodontic residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey. He continued to practice general dentistry for two years in New Jersey, where he discovered his passion for endodontics. Guanche earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and received multiple academic awards for his clinical excellence. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Biology and Chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Nelson Guanche is originally from Miami, FL. She strives to provide each patient with a comfortable and painless root canal experience. Payne is dedicated to providing the community with exceptional endodontic care, using the most modern and advanced technologies available. After graduation, she decided to return to South Florida to be near her family. During her 3 year residency, Lesleigh Payne was elected Chief Resident by her fellow residents and attendings. After graduating with honors from dental school, she headed north to the University of North Carolina where she obtained her Master's degree and her Certificate in Endodontics. She quickly developed an interest in endodontics, finding fulfillment in relieving patients from pain and restoring them to a state of health and wellbeing. She received her Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, which led her to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. During her time at university, she discovered her passion for dentistry. She later moved to Gainesville, FL where she joined the Gator Nation at the University of Florida. Taras Roud was introduced into the OKU Honor Dental Society, an organization that represents the highest achievements in dental scholarship, professionalism, and ethics. He pursued his DMD at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors and receiving the Dean's List award for highest scholastic achievement. As a young man, he expressed a keen interest in mathematics and chemistry, and he was a three-time national champion in scientific competitions in the former Soviet Union.Īfter graduating from dental school in Ukraine, Taras Roud immigrated to the United States in 1992.
